Shopify fiscalization

The FiskalAPI app issues a Serbian fiscal receipt for every paid Shopify order, on its own, as soon as Shopify reports the order as paid. The buyer sees a link to the receipt with its QR code on the order status page. The app is free — you pay only for issued receipts.

From connecting to the first receipt

    Ask for the link

    We connect the app together with you — we send you an install link for your store.

  2. 02

    Approve access

    Shopify asks you to let the app read orders and write the receipt number back to the order.

  3. 03

    Paste the test key

    On the app settings page, paste the key starting with fapi_test_ and save.

  4. 04

    Switch to the live key

    Once your security element is in, replace the test key with the live one (fapi_live_) and start selling.

What the app does

  • Payment method from the order

    Card, cash on delivery or bank deposit — read from the order’s payment method, never typed by hand.

  • Tax label per rate

    Selling at two VAT rates? Map each rate to its label (20=Ђ, 10=Е), and shipping separately.

  • Shipping and discounts

    Shipping goes on the receipt as its own line, and a cart-wide discount is spread proportionally across lines.

  • No duplicate receipts

    If Shopify reports the same order twice, no second receipt is issued.

  • Receipt number on the order

    The receipt number and verification link are written to the order, so you see them in Shopify admin.

  • Manual issuing

    For an order that did not go through, enter its number in the app settings and issue the receipt.

Questions about the Shopify app

The app is free, as are the test key and help with connecting. You pay only for issued fiscal receipts, tiered from 9 down to 1.5 RSD per receipt, with no subscription.

When Shopify reports the order as paid. With a card that is right after checkout. With cash on delivery the order waits until you mark it as paid, so the receipt is issued only after collection.

The courier collects cash or card and does not tell the store which. So in the settings you choose: cash, payment card or other cashless payment. If the payment method’s name already says it is card on delivery, the app follows that.

In the settings, enter rates and labels one per line (for example 20=Ђ and 10=Е). Flat-rate businesses need not touch anything: when the field is empty, the label from your FiskalAPI account is used.

The order stays untouched. Enter the order number in the app settings and issue the receipt manually. If the order already has a receipt, no second one is issued.

The app issues the sale receipt. A return gets a refund receipt that references the original — one API call. The app does not yet issue refunds from Shopify on its own, so we connect that together with you.
